Saturday we visited Packwood House in Lapworth Warwickshire. The original building was built in the 1500's.

Baron Ash bought the house in 1920 and extensively restored it to its English Tudor splendor. Queen Mary visited on occasion and as the story goes would always take a small object from the house with her when she left. Her staff would find it and return it to Packwood. Klepto Queen Mary she was!
